It is important to know the top performing image ad sizes in order to optimize and create effective ads.

According to Google, these are the top performing ad sizes:

300×250 | Medium rectangle

It has more ad inventory available from advertisers.
It means to increase earnings when both text and image ads are enabled.
It performs well when embedded within text content or at the end of articles.

336×280 | Large rectangle

It has more ad inventory available from advertisers.
It means to increase earnings when both text and image ads are enabled.
It performs well when embedded within text content or at the end of articles.

728×90 | Leaderboard

It has more ad inventory available from advertisers.
It means to increase earnings when both text and image ads are enabled.
It performs well when placed above main content and on forum sites.

300×600 | Half page

It is one of the fastest growing sizes by impressions.

It offers advertisers twice the height of a standard mobile leaderboard.
